On another note, anybody know if water goes up to the powerhead and only to the powerhead. I now find no stream is emerging from the tell-tale on the port motor. New water pump kit (not just an impeller). I'm running it out of water with a hose thing (has two rubber cups). then all you have to do is check water pressure to check pump condition. No sign of wear. I have an older 1976 85hp V4 and if I am reading the post correctly it doesn't have a factory tell tale.
